Uranus moon – Belinda – discovered on January 13, 1986

Astronomer Stephen P. Synnott discovers Uranus moon Belinda on January 13, 1986 from photos taken by Voyager 2. It is named after the heroine of Alexander Pope’s The Rape of the Lock.
